Janice Bolland is an American former road racing cyclist. She won a gold medal at the 1992 UCI Road World Championships in the team time trial and a silver one in the team time trial in 1993.
Janice became one of the most consistent and successful American racers in the 1990s, competing all over the world and traveling as many as 200 days a year. She represented the US Road Cycling Team in Cuba, Spain, Norway, France, Belgium, Holland, and Germany, and her career included several national medals and the World Championships in 1992. Her resume includes status as a US National Road Team member (1990-1994) and a US National Mountain Bike Team member (1993-1996), and some of her championships include: 1990 Tour of Somerville, New Jersey; 1991 50K Team Time Trial for the US Pan American Games; 1992 World Champion 50K Team Time Trial at the World Championships in Benidorm, Spain; 1993 US National 50K Team Time Trial Championships; 1995 US National Cyclo-Cross Championships; and 1995 Colorado State Cyclo-Cross Championships. Janice remained involved in cycling, coaching several junior and women racers and being involved in many clinics and seminars in New England. Since 1998, she has promoted several cyclo-cross races.
